Marketing Lead - SEO

The SEO Lead will be responsible for defining, leading, and executing the group-wide SEO strategy across all E-commerce and informative websites within Ali Bin Ali Group. This is a senior role requiring strong strategic thinking, leadership, and hands-on expertise to drive organic growth, visibility, and performance across multiple brands and divisions.

The role will work closely with Marketing, E-commerce, Content, and external agencies to ensure SEO best practices are embedded into all digital initiatives.

Strategy & Leadership

• Define and own the SEO vision and roadmap for Ali Bin Ali Group across all divisions.
• Align SEO strategy with overall business, marketing, and e-commerce objectives.
• Act as the subject matter expert for SEO within the group, advising senior stakeholders and leadership.
• Lead SEO governance, standards, and best practices across all brands and platforms.

E-commerce SEO

• Drive organic growth for e-commerce platforms through technical SEO, category optimization, product page optimization, and internal linking strategies.
• Optimize SEO performance across PLPs, PDPs, filters, faceted navigation, and site search.
• Partner with E-commerce and UX teams to ensure SEO-friendly site architecture and customer journeys.

Content & On-Page SEO

• Define SEO content strategies for both commercial and informational websites.
• Ensure all content is human-written, brand-aligned, and search-intent driven.
• Oversee keyword research, content mapping, metadata optimization, and content performance.
• Collaborate with content, brand, and corporate communications teams to ensure SEO alignment.

AI Search & LLM Readiness

• Prepare Ali Bin Ali Group websites to perform in AI-powered search environments, including:
  • Google SGE/ AI Overviews
  • Voice Assistants
  • LLM-Based answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot , Perplexity , etc.)
• Structuring content for entity-based search and semantic understanding
• Optimizing for E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trust)
• Designing content that can be:
  • Quoted
  • Summarized
  • Referenced by LLMs
• Implementing schema markup (Product, FAQ, How-To, Organization, Article, Review)
• Creating LLM-friendly content frameworks (clear headings, concise answers, authoritative sources)
• Monitoring how brand content appears in AI-generated answers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or related field.
• 6-7 years of SEO experience, with proven success in large-scale or multi-brand environments.
• Strong experience in E-commerce SEO and enterprise-level websites.
• Eperience in regional / international SEO is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, managing agencies or internal teams.
• Advanced knowledge of GA4, GTM, GSC, SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
• Solid understanding of UX, CRO, and how SEO integrates with paid media and content marketing.
