Job Title: Mason

Salary: 1500 QAR
We are looking for a reliable Mason to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have minimal experience in the masonry trade and a strong work ethic. This position requires an individual who is able to work independently as well as part of a team, taking direction from the Site Supervisor. The Mason must be able to interpret and understand drawings and have a good knowledge of masonry techniques.
- Lay bricks or other masonry units in mortar to construct walls and other structures
- Perform basic repairs on existing structures, such as replacing broken bricks or adding new mortar
- Follow safety protocols while working with sharp tools, heavy machinery, and hazardous materials
- Assist in mixing cement and operating power tools and other machinery as needed
- Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor for completing projects within the required timeframe
- Maintain cleanliness on the job site by disposing of waste materials properly
- Load and unload materials from trucks as needed
- Minimum 1 year of experience in masonry or related field preferred but not required
- Ability to interpret drawings accurately and quickly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor over long periods of time
- Proficiency with power tools (drills, saws, etc.) is preferred but not required
