Your duties will include measuring and cutting materials, laying out patterns or foundations, mixing mortar or cement, and applying finishes to completed structures. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a mason, with a strong understanding of construction techniques and safety protocols. You should also possess physical strength and stamina, as this role often requires lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions. Key Responsibilities
Read blueprints or other specifications to determine project requirements. Measure and mark cutting lines on materials. Mix mortar or cement according to specifications. Lay out patterns or foundations using plumb lines or levels. Align structures vertically or horizontally using levels. Apply finishes such as sealants or caulking to completed structures. Use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, or levels. Clean up work areas after completing projects. Requirements
