Job Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of automotive vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance on cars such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, etc.
- Ensure vehicles meet safety standards by inspecting brakes, lights, steering systems and other parts of the vehicle.
- Identify problems and take necessary steps to repair or replace parts as needed.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs made to vehicles.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Vocational education in Automotive Mechanics is preferred
- 2+ years’ experience working on automotive vehicles required
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Proficient in the use of power tools and mechanical equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
