Job Title: Mechanical Inspector Powertrain

The Mechanical Inspector will inspect and monitor powertrain-related mechanical installation works ensuring full compliance with project specifications approved procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect mechanical installation activities related to major rotating and powertrain equipment
- Verify alignment assembly installation and quality of works
- Witness inspections testing and installation checks
- Review inspection requests and confirm readiness of completed works
- Report deviations non-conformities and site observations
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers and contractor teams
- Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC requirements
Qualifications :
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of relevant site inspection experience
- Experience in thermal power plant or major industrial mechanical installations
- Strong exposure to rotating equipment and powertrain systems
Preferred Profile
- GCC project experience
- Strong field inspection background in complex mechanical packages
