Medical Insurance Coordinator

Role & responsibilities

• Coordinate with medical insurance companies for approvals, eligibility checks, claims and pre-authorizations
• Verify patients insurance coverage and explain benefits, co-payments and required documentation
• Prepare, submit, track and follow up on insurance claims
• Resolve claim rejections, denials and payment discrepancies with insurance providers
• Maintain accurate patient insurance records and ensure documentation is complete
• Liaise with doctors, reception staff, billing teams and insurance representatives
• Stay informed about insurance policies, clinic procedures and relevant healthcare regulations in Qatar

Previous experience working with health or medical insurance companies in Qatar. Experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare setting is preferred. Good knowledge of insurance approvals, claims submission, and pre-authorization procedures. Strong communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage. Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple cases.
