Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and BOQs.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for mechanical and electrical MEP works.
Estimate material, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs.
Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis and tender quotations.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
Evaluate supplier quotations and prepare comparison statements.
Identify discrepancies, missing items and variations in tender documents.
Coordinate with the Project, Procurement and Commercial teams for technical and commercial clarifications.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of tenders and quotations.
Maintain estimation records and cost databases.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in an MEP contracting company in the UAE or India.
Experience in MEP estimation and quantity surveying for Mechanical and/or Electrical works.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting and electrical systems.
Ability to study tender documents, specifications, drawings and BOQs.
Expertise in quantity take-off and preparation of detailed cost estimates.
Experience in preparing BOQs, rate analysis, material take-offs and cost breakdowns.
Ability to obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Knowledge of UAE market rates, material costs and MEP specifications.
Experience in preparing tender submissions and commercial proposals.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and estimation-related software.
Good analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
