We are hiring a Merchandiser to join our retail store team in the bustling city of Ar-Ruwais. Our ideal candidate would have experience in visual merchandising and a passion for creating eye-catching displays that will attract and engage customers. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining visual guidelines and standards, ensuring that our store is always visually appealing. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to increase sales and enhance the customer experience
Create attractive displays that showcase our products and promotions in an appealing manner
Ensure all merchandise is displayed according to company standards and guidelines
Collaborate with the buying team to ensure proper product placement based on sales data
Continuously monitor inventory levels and restock as needed
Stay updated on current fashion trends, market trends, and competitor activities
Train new employees on visual merchandising techniques to maintain consistency throughout the store
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in visual merchandising or a related field
Knowledge of current fashion trends, market trends, and competitor activities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the buying team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
Preferred qualifications:
Biometric passport or valid residency permit for non-nationals
Proficiency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
Experience working with students or prior experience as a student yourself
