Merchandiser (Indian Nationals Only)
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our retail team in Al-Khor. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandise strategies, analyzing sales data, and monitoring inventory levels. You will work closely with buyers, suppliers, and store managers to ensure that our stores are stocked with the right products at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop merchandise plans based on market trends and sales data
- Collaborate with buyers to select products and negotiate prices with suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimum stock levels
- Analyze sales data to identify product performance trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper merchandising and display of products
- Work closely with store managers to implement promotional strategies and drive sales
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and finance
- Stay updated on industry trends and competition in order to make informed decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser in the retail industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software programs
