Roles and Responsibilities

Youapproach your responsibilities with discipline, a clear understanding of whatthe business requires, and a consistent attention to quality - workingcollaboratively and focused, at all times, on delivering meaningful output.
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in asimilar role within a Luxury Hotel or Healthcare environment in the UAE.
- Strong hands-on knowledge and experience ingeneral maintenance and multi-skilled engineering works.
- Strong ability to work autonomously, takingproactive initiative to resolve issues with efficiency and effectiveness.
- A Proactive Nature, coupled with a meticulousEye for Detail, ensuring every aspect of the Operation is curated toperfection.
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance acrossguest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas and other hotel facilities,ensuring exceptional standards are consistently maintained.
- Demonstrates strong hands-on expertise in generalmaintenance works, responding efficiently to operational requirements.
- Conducts regular inspections of facilities,equipment and building systems, identifying potential issues and takingproactive action to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoots and rectifies technical faultsefficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to Hotel Operations and GuestExperiences.
- Carries out minor electrical, plumbing,carpentry, masonry, tiling, painting and other general maintenance works asrequired.
- Responds promptly to maintenance requests andbreakdowns, completing assigned tasks within designated timelines.
- Ensures that all maintenance works are carriedout to the Highest Standards of quality, safety and precision, embodying theLuxe and Glamorous ethos of FIVE.
- Utilises tools, equipment and materialsappropriately and ensures that all equipment remains in good working condition.
- Adheres to all Safe Work practices andprocedures Meticulously, ensuring a secure working environment that prioritisesthe Well-Being of all.
- Completes all tasks assigned by the DutyEngineer, efficiently and effectively within designated timelines, contributingwith Dedication and Passion.
- Reports recurring technical issues, defects ormaintenance concerns to the Engineering Team and supports the implementationofappropriate solutions.
- Maintains meticulous Attention to Detail,ensuring all maintenance works meet the Breathtaking standards expected atFIVE.
- Works collaboratively with Team Members andother Hotel Departments to ensure smooth and uninterrupted Hotel Operations.
- Actively participates in monthly DepartmentalMeetings, providing Valuable feedback and offering Insightful suggestions forcontinuous improvement as a valued member of our FIVE Tribe.
- Takes Ownership of all assigned duties anddemonstrates a proactive approach to maintaining the Hotel’s facilities andengineering standards.
- A hands-on attitude, fuelled by a ‘Can-Do!’Spirit.
