Overview:

Seeking a senior‑level engineer with strong hands‑on experience supporting Murex environments in on-premises and Azure Cloud infrastructure for high‑performance market risk workloads in non-Production (lower environments) and Production . The role focuses on environment stability, scaling, and deep troubleshooting across application, infrastructure, and network layers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in high‑availability, high‑pressure environments and will play a key role in ensuring system stability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience (5+ years relevant) preparing and supporting Murex non-production (lower environments) and Production environments (service startup, debugging, monitoring, performance tuning)
• This includes Murex non-prod environment availability, batch & EOD processing, health, environments housekeeping & maintenance, support and troubleshooting, stakeholder communication.
• Deep understanding of scaling services for heavy workloads and capacity planning in Production
• Experience supporting market risk systems , large compute workloads, and GPU grids
• Perform deep debugging and troubleshooting of Murex services, middleware, and supporting components
• Monitor critical Murex services with a focus on performance, memory usage, storage utilization, and service health .
• Optimize memory, CPU, disk, and I/O usage to ensure stable and efficient Murex operations
• Solid Azure infrastructure knowledge (VMs, networking, storage)
• Linux VM administration and maintenance
• Manage Linux virtual machines in Azure, including patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and lifecycle management
• Experience with Azure Databricks setup and support
• Ensure integration between Databricks, Murex, and upstream/downstream data sources
• Strong networking skills , including firewall and routing troubleshooting
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Key Vault, Az Copy, and schedulers
• Configure and manage schedulers (batch/job schedulers) supporting Murex and risk workloads
• Working knowledge of version control systems (VCS)
