As a Network Security Engineer supporting QDS on a 6-month contract in Doha, Qatar, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of Fortinet‑based network security architecture, firewall policy administration, network access control, and troubleshooting. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include deploying and configuring FortiGate firewalls, managing FortiNAC user authentication and endpoint compliance, maintaining FortiSwitch and FortiAP network fabrics, and resolving complex network security incidents promptly. You will operate in a collaborative enterprise environment while partnering closely with client IT infrastructure and security squads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, optimize, and maintain comprehensive Fortinet security solutions across enterprise network infrastructures.
- Administer FortiGate next‑generation firewalls, security policies, VPN tunnels, and threat intelligence protection mechanisms.
- Implement and manage FortiNAC network access control, endpoint visibility, and automated policy enforcement.
- Oversee enterprise switching and wireless network management utilizing FortiSwitch and FortiAP hardware architectures.
