As an OCI Network Administrator / OCI Network Engineer at Marc Ellis in Qatar, you will take full ownership of architecting, deploying, and maintaining scalable Oracle Cloud Infrastructure networking environments. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities encompass configuring Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), Dynamic Routing Gateways (DRGs), secure VPN and IPsec tunnels, hub‑and‑spoke network architectures, and OCI Load Balancers. You will manage Network Security Groups (NSGs), security lists, route tables, and complex subnets while troubleshooting advanced cloud networking issues. Working in a fast‑paced enterprise environment, you will collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless cloud integration, enforce stringent cybersecurity baselines, and support large‑scale enterprise or government digital transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and manage complex Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) networking environments.
- Architect and deploy Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), Dynamic Routing Gateways (DRGs), and hub‑and‑spoke topologies.
- Establish and troubleshoot secure VPN and IPsec site‑to‑site connectivity and fast‑connect circuits.
- Configure, scale, and maintain OCI Load Balancers for high‑availability enterprise applications.
- Implement and manage Network Security Groups (NSGs), security lists, route tables, and custom subnetting schemas.
- Troubleshoot advanced cloud routing, firewall rules, and cross‑VCN connectivity bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional cloud architects, enterprise IT teams, and government stakeholders in Qatar.
- Author and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, network topology diagrams, and runbooks.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in cloud networking, systems administration, or network architecture.
- Strong, mandatory hands‑on professional experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) networking environments.
- Deep technical expertise in OCI Networking, VCNs, DRGs, VPN/IPsec connectivity, and load balancing.
