Event and Office Coordinator Wanted
JOB DESCRIPTION
New Ventures West, a coach training and leadership development company based in San Francisco, is hiring a part-time Event & Office Coordinator. This in-person role keeps our San Francisco office running and our courses and events executing smoothly on the ground, from office operations and inventory to onsite event production and materials logistics.
We're a small, close-knit team with over 40 years in business looking for someone detail-oriented and hands-on who wants a role with real ownership over how our physical space and events run.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Onsite Event and Course Production
● Coordinate onsite logistics for internal courses, external trade shows, and events
● Manage classroom setup, layout, and A/V equipment ahead of each course
● Coordinate with hospitality vendors on-site for food, beverage, setup/take-down
● Assist with food and beverage tasks during certain classes, and fill in for the classroom Catering Assistant when needed as a backup
● Print and prepare materials for in-person courses
● Order, package, and ship books, binders, and course materials to students
● Produce labels and prepare mailings
● Print, prepare, and obtain signatures on graduation certificates, including for international partners
● For external events: support sourcing and negotiating hotel contracts, food/beverage and faculty housing
● Provide occasional, though rare, weekend on-call support during live courses
Office Operations
● Maintain inventory of course materials, workbooks, marketing/exhibition supplies, and general office supplies; place orders as needed
● Coordinate with building management, vendors, and other tenants to keep the office secure, clean, and functional
● Perform light general cleaning of the office, classroom and bathroom spaces before and after each class
● Greet visitors with professionalism
Qualifications
● 1-3+ years in event production, hospitality, or office administration
● Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting materials up to 30 lbs, room setup/breakdown involving moving rolling furniture)
● Based in or able to commute reliably to the Outer Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco
PAY & BENEFITS
$28-$30/hr, depending on experience. Part-time with paid sick leave.
