Position OverviewAmazon is hiring an Operations Lead - Supervisor in Dubai, UAE to support the safe, efficient, and consistent execution of daily operations at an operational site. Working closely with the Shift-Area Manager, the role serves as a key point of contact for employees during the shift, monitors workflows and performance, supports frontline teams, and uses operational data to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Measure and monitor workflows and track onsite operational performance.
• Provide relevant shift information to frontline management to support operational performance across shifts.
• Support and train employees in their daily responsibilities and help teams deliver the required level of service.
• Supervise employees during daily operational activities.
• Support the Shift-Area Manager with projects focused on process improvement.
• Help maintain a safe working environment and support workforce engagement.
• Work with other departments to resolve common operational issues and address support requirements in key performance areas.
• Analyze operational data to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Help ensure employees follow established processes, safety requirements, quality procedures, and shift priorities.
• Escalate operational issues to the appropriate manager when required.
• Provide direction to team members when acting as the most senior person on shift.

A Day in the Life

The Operations Lead - Supervisor works directly within an Amazon operational site and helps the Shift-Area Manager execute the daily shift plan. This includes supporting pre-shift meetings, monitoring workflows, checking adherence to safety and quality processes, and keeping teams focused on the day 's operational priorities. The position is hands-on and provides regular exposure to the tools and systems used to manage Amazon operations. Depending on shift requirements, the Operations Lead - Supervisor may also need to provide immediate direction to employees to keep work progressing safely and efficiently.

Basic Qualifications

• 1 years of experience using Microsoft Office products and applications.
• 1 years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, shift, or work area, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma concepts.
