Typical responsibilities:
- Surgical extraction of impacted and complicated teeth, including wisdom teeth
- Dental implant surgery
- Bone grafting and sinus lift procedures
- Treatment of jaw and facial infections
- Management of oral cysts and certain lesions
- Treatment of facial and jaw trauma, within licensed scope and privileges
- Pre-prosthetic oral surgery
- Surgical management of conditions affecting the mouth and jaws
- Patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and post-operative care
- Coordination with dentists and other medical specialists
- Maintaining clinical documentation and obtaining informed consent
Requirements:
Medical License -(ready) NOC Letter for MOI and MOPH
