Org Development & Workforce Planning Specialist.Organizational Effectiveness & Total Rewards

JOB OBJECTIVE

Enhance organizational design and strategic workforce planning by analyzing data, improving operational effectiveness, and applying job evaluation methods to optimize resources and align with talent strategies. Assist with HR policy execution and other talent initiatives.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Organization Design

• Collaborate with the Head of Organization Effectiveness and Total Rewards and Talent Management Manager to implement organizational design strategies based on business needs
• Review and refine departmental structures across departments to enhance operational effectiveness
• Contribute to structural change initiatives such as reorganizations, new business unit setups, or role consolidations
• Maintain and updates organizational charts, job descriptions aligned with job families, and positions in alignment with approved design principles; Document / modify job descriptions as per organization design and structure changes or for new roles

Strategic Workforce Planning

• Support the Head of Organization Effectiveness and Total Rewards and Talent Management Manager to gather workforce needs linked to company strategy
• Support the documentation of the strategic workforce planning process
• Maintain and analyze internal workforce data on a regular basis (headcount, attrition, rotation, skills, contractor mix) to forecast manpower requirements and gaps
• Develop and maintain workforce planning dashboards and reports; monitor pipeline health and identify resourcing risks
• Finalize the annual manpower plan and submit to the Head of Organization Effectiveness and Total Rewards to facilitate management with regards to the optimization of resource allocation and manpower budgeting

Job Evaluation & Banding

• Carry out detailed assessments of positions and compare roles to verify consistency with established internal evaluation frameworks
• Contribute to the creation and calibration of assessment tools customized for specific organizational requirements
• Facilitate the process for position title changes and adjustments to job levels by following designated review and approval workflows
• Assist with deploying new grade or band frameworks and ensure all related documentation, systems, and policies are updated and aligned

Policy Management

• Support the Head of Organization Effectiveness and Total Rewards to conduct research and benchmarking of HR policies against industry best practices and other requirements
• Assist in drafting and formatting new policies and updating existing policy documents under guidance from management
• Prepare summaries, comparative analyses, and working papers to support policy reviews and audits
• Maintain an organized repository of HR policies and ensure version control, communication, and accessibility for employees
• Support data collection and feedback gathering from employees and stakeholders to inform policy revisions

People Analytics

• Develop and update data visualizations using Excel and Power BI to support insights across manpower and organization data
• Support the reporting of key organizational health indicators including span of control, organizational layers, and nationalization targets
• Conduct reporting for internal governance and external audits on workforce capability and capacity

Team Management and Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with overall business objectives
• Build and nurture strong working relationships across departments to foster teamwork, knowledge sharing, and effective problem-solving

HSE Responsibility

• Conduct all works activities in line with GDI Goal Zer0 initiative, to stay safe and be environmentally responsible at all times by not taking on any task(s) that are perceived to be unsafe; comply with the company QHSE Management system
• Report all incidents or near misses to supervisor/manager or QHSE representatives
