Role Description This full-time remote role as an Outside Sales Representative focuses on driving new business and expanding existing customer accounts for Art Knitting Mills’ custom sports apparel and related products. On a day-to-day basis, the representative will identify and qualify prospects, conduct virtual and in-person (as needed) sales presentations, and follow up on leads from schools, teams, and organizations. The role includes building strong relationships with decision-makers, understanding their branding needs, and recommending appropriate product solutions. The representative will manage the sales pipeline, prepare quotes, negotiate pricing within guidelines, and coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Ongoing responsibilities include maintaining detailed records in a CRM, meeting sales targets, and representing the brand professionally at remote meetings, events, and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Presentations and New Business Development skills, including the ability to prospect, pitch, and close opportunities.
• Candidates should possess excellent Relationship Building and Customer Service skills to cultivate long-term accounts and deliver a positive client experience.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey product value and collaborate with internal teams.
• Experience in B2B or institutional sales, preferably in apparel, uniforms, or school/athletic markets, is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet or exceed sales goals.
• Proficiency with CRM software and basic office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, online meeting platforms).
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally to client locations or events, as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
