𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲

• Top-of-market pay for a door and gate lead, plus a signing bonus.

• A company truck during the workday, with fuel and maintenance covered.

• A growing commercial side: new-construction door packages, plus repair and service for the customers you installed them for.

• A shop that does it right. Every install goes in to manufacturer spec, never the low-bid shortcut.

• Steady work: usually one install a day on new construction, or three or four service calls.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼

• Run the job site as the lead technician with a two-person crew, and two crews on the big door packages.

• Install commercial door packages on new construction: rolling steel, sectional and fire doors, automatic doors, vehicle gates and automated gate systems, with their operators and safety devices.

• Diagnose and repair doors and gates on service calls, order the parts and finish the job.

• Read plans, specs and submittals, keep every job safe and on schedule, and bring newer technicians along.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲

• 7+ years installing and servicing overhead doors and gates. The strongest leads on this team have 10+.

• You have run crews as a foreman or lead technician.

• You know commercial doors, automatic doors and gates, and you are as comfortable on a service call as on a new install.

• You take pride in doing it right the first time.

• Not the right fit if your background is general construction without door and gate work. This seat needs someone who comes straight from the trade.

𝗣𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀

• $41 to $49 an hour, full time, plus a signing bonus.

• Medical with a company contribution, plus dental and vision.

• Retirement plan with a company match.

• Tool and boot allowances.

𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

• Full time. Each morning starts with a quick huddle at the shop in central San Diego, then out to job sites across San Diego County, with some Orange County work.

• A valid driver's license is required, since you will drive the company truck.
