Paid Media Executive
Location: Delhi NCR
Hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days' work from home
We are looking for a Paid Media Executive to support the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of paid media campaigns across digital platforms. The role will work closely with internal teams, agency partners, and media vendors to help ensure campaigns are executed effectively, budgets are managed accurately, and media performance is tracked against objectives.
In addition to hands-on paid media responsibilities, this person will own key operational aspects of media buying, including vendor management, billing coordination, invoice reconciliation, and spend tracking. The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of digital media platforms with attention to detail and the ability to manage the financial and operational processes that support paid media activity.
About the Role
- Paid Media Campaign Management: Support the setup, execution, monitoring, and optimization of campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, programmatic/DSPs, and other relevant paid media channels.
- Campaign Optimization: Monitor campaign performance against agreed KPIs and budgets, identify opportunities for optimization, and work with internal teams and agency partners to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Media Planning & Budget Management: Support media planning and budget allocation across platforms and campaigns, while maintaining accurate spend trackers and monitoring pacing against approved budgets.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare regular campaign performance reports and provide insights on spend, delivery, performance, and key trends to relevant stakeholders.
- Agency & Vendor Management: Coordinate with media agencies, platform partners, and vendors on campaign execution, media plans, insertion orders, billing queries, credits, and other operational requirements.
- Billing & Invoice Reconciliation: Reconcile media invoices against platform-reported spend, approved media plans/IOs, and internal budget trackers, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Spend & Financial Coordination: Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure media spend is accurately recorded and support month-end processes, including accruals and reconciliation where required.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate differences between platform spend, contracted/approved amounts, and vendor invoices, working with relevant stakeholders to identify root causes and resolve issues.
- Process Management: Maintain accurate campaign, budget, billing, and vendor documentation and help improve workflows and processes as paid media activity scales.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Paid Media, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, agencies, and external partners to ensure smooth campaign execution and accurate financial administration.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Paid Media, Digital Marketing, Media Buying, or Performance Marketing, preferably within an agency, digital marketing, or media environment. Hands-on experience with media billing, invoice reconciliation, spend tracking, and vendor coordination is required.
- Paid Media Knowledge: Working knowledge of platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and/or programmatic platforms/DSPs. Understanding of campaign setup, targeting, optimization, budgeting, and performance reporting is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Comfortable working with campaign and spend data, identifying trends and discrepancies, and translating performance data into actionable insights.
- Excel/Google Sheets: Strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and managing campaign and budget trackers.
- Commercial & Operational Skills: Good understanding of media budgets, vendor invoices, insertion orders, campaign spend, and reconciliation processes.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, agencies, platforms, and vendors.
- Organization: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, budgets, invoices, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Good to Have: Experience working in a media agency or performance marketing environment and exposure to media buying platforms, campaign trafficking, ad operations, media billing, or vendor management.
