Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces for painting by washing walls, repairing holes, sanding surfaces, and removing old paint
- Mixing colors to match existing colors or create new ones
- Applying paint using rollers, brushes, spraying equipment, or other tools
- Cleaning up after painting is done by removing equipment and cleaning up the worksite
- Working in both interior and exterior environments as needed
- Keeping accurate records of materials used during each project
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a Painter for at least two years is essential
- Ability to read blueprints and diagrams accurately
- Knowledge of different types of paints and techniques
- Ability to work with ladders and scaffolding as needed
