Pastry Chef - Ar-Ruwais, UAE As a Pastry Chef at our high-end restaurant in Ar-Ruwais, UAE, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods. We are seeking a talented and creative individual with a passion for pastry making to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and create new recipes for pastries, desserts, and baked goods that align with the restaurant's brand and menu offerings
Prepare all pastry items according to established recipes and presentations standards
Ensure that all ingredients used are fresh, of high quality, and in compliance with food safety standards
Oversee the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of pastries to the restaurant's kitchen
Train and supervise junior pastry chefs in proper techniques, procedures, and hygiene practices
Manage inventory of pastry supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain stock levels
Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items or special event menus
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end establishment
Extensive knowledge of various baking techniques and methods for creating different types of pastries and desserts
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Excellent time management skills
Creative mindset with an eye for presentation
Ability to communicate effectively in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
Salary: 1100$ per month. Please note that this is a full-time position with flexible working hours. The ideal candidate should be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
