Pastry Chef (Indian Nationals preferred)

We are a well-established restaurant in the rapidly growing city of Lusail, Qatar and we are looking for a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team. We have a preference for Indian nationals due to the nature of our cuisine and clientele.

As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweet treats in accordance with traditional Indian recipes. You will also be responsible for maintaining high quality standards and ensuring that all food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality desserts and pastries according to established recipes
• Design new dessert options to add variety to our menu
• Ensure that all food products are fresh and of high quality
• Follow food safety standards and regulations at all times
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely completion of orders

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in an Indian restaurant setting
• Knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors
• Ability to create visually appealing desserts using various techniques such as piping, molding, etc.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month along with other benefits including accommodation, transportation, and yearly ticket allowance.
