PAUT Inspector

Blue Horizon team is seeking experienced PAUT Inspectors to support prestigious Oil & Gas projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves performing Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) inspections on pipelines, pressure vessels, storage tanks, structural welds, and other critical assets.

Position Summary

• Blue Horizon team is seeking experienced PAUT Inspectors to support prestigious Oil & Gas projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves performing Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) inspections on pipelines, pressure vessels, storage tanks, structural welds, and other critical assets.
• The position requires strong technical knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and inspection procedures, along with the ability to work independently at site and prepare accurate inspection reports. This is a long-term, two-year contract opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Perform PAUT inspections on pipelines, pressure vessels, storage tanks, structural welds, and other critical assets.
• Carry out inspections in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and inspection procedures.
• Work independently at project sites.
• Evaluate inspection results in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Support Oil & Gas inspection activities while maintaining required technical and quality standards.

Qualifications

Education

• Minimum three-year regular Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Science, or an equivalent qualification.
• Qualification must be from a recognized and reputed institute.
• Certification
• PCN Level 2 – PAUT certification is mandatory.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Hands-on experience performing PAUT inspections on critical Oil & Gas assets.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Strong understanding of inspection procedures.
• Ability to work independently on site.
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate inspection reports.
