Position Must Have:
Payroll management experience, supervisory level preferred
Strong technology skills
with an ability to learn and feel comfortable with new systems
Ability to help create and manage workflows and processes
Advanced skills in Excel
Ability to talk with people, help them solve problems, and assist people in person
Experience with HRIS systems
Knowledge of or experience with company benefits administration, for example health plans, 401k plans, health savings accounts, etc.
Experience with scheduling employees and reviewing timecards
Experience in a long-term care setting strongly preferred
Ability to negotiate and solve complicated situations.
Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Professional demeanor and attitude, with respect
for
others' viewpoints and boundaries.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Required Education, Licenses and Certifications:
Associates or
Bachelors
Degree in related field
Job Duties Include:
Collaborating closely with service department administrators to create effective workflows and efficient processes
Overseeing payroll preparations and processing, including developing and streamlining processes between personnel and service departments
Oversee administrative and support functions such has HRIS, Payroll, IT and benefit portals ensuring smooth communication and collaboration between departments
Ensuring adherence to regulations, contracts, and internal policies and preparing reports for management across departments
Oversee administrative technology and database functions, including data entry, consistency across all
platforms
and generating reports as requested.
Working Conditions:
Base schedule is Monday through Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm in the company's local office
Hours and weekly
schedule
are dictated by current tasks and program needs. Evening and weekend hours may be required
Much of the work involves
working directly with people, in person, in a collaborative
and interactive manner.
