Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly qualified Pediatrician to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the highest quality of care to patients, ensuring that their physical and mental well-being is taken into consideration on a daily basis. Candidate Requirements
- The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Medicine or related field from an accredited university as well as experience in pediatrics or related field.
- The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills as well as strong problem solving abilities and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of pediatric diseases and treatments is preferred but not required.
- A valid license to practice medicine is mandatory for this role.
Job Duties
The primary duties of this role include but are not limited to
- performing physical examinations on patients
- prescribing medications
- diagnosing illnesses
- providing counselling services
- educating parents on proper nutrition/ hygiene/ safety practices
- keeping detailed patient records
- consulting with colleagues/ specialists when necessary
- ordering laboratory tests/ scans/ x-rays when required
- attending emergency situations when needed
- monitoring patient progress over time
- staying up-to-date on the latest treatments/ technologies available in the field of pediatrics.
