Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Periodontist - DHA role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Periodontist will provide comprehensive periodontal assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including scaling, root planing, and management of periodontal disease. Daily responsibilities include performing surgical procedures such as gum surgeries and bone grafts, placing and restoring dental implants, and collaborating with other dental professionals to develop integrated treatment plans. The role also involves patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care, maintaining accurate clinical records, adhering to DHA regulations, and upholding high standards of infection control and patient safety. The Periodontist is expected to participate in ongoing professional development and support a positive, patient-centered clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Dentistry and Dental Care, with a focus on periodontal health and patient-centered treatment.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge in Medicine as it relates to oral-systemic health, including diagnosis and management of conditions affecting the gums and supporting structures.
• Candidates should possess advanced competencies in Oral Surgery, including periodontal surgical procedures and tissue management.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Dental Implants, covering treatment planning, placement, and maintenance of implant-supported restorations.
• Valid DHA license or eligibility for DHA licensing as a Periodontist in Dubai.
• Recognized dental degree and specialized training in Periodontology from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical practice, preferably in a multidisciplinary or specialty dental clinic.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly and build trust with diverse patients.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and adherence to ethical and professional standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a dental team and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
