Job Purpose To deliver exceptional customer service by handling branch-based banking transactions, resolving customer queries, promoting banking products and services, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The role serves as the first point of contact for customers, enhancing their overall banking experience while contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service and address inquiries efficiently.
• Process customer transactions including account opening, account maintenance, fund transfers, cheque services, and service requests.
• Assist customers with digital banking enrollment and self-service channels.
• Identify customer needs and promote relevant banking products such as accounts, cards, deposits, loans, and insurance solutions.
• Handle customer complaints and service issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in all transactions and documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of banking products, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support branch sales and service targets through effective customer engagement.
• Adhere to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC, and internal control requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in banking, customer service, sales, or branch operations.
• Fresh graduates with strong customer service orientation may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and Training
  • Supervise the teller team and ensure that they are meeting performance standards and goals; Provide training and coaching to the teller team on customer service

• Customer Service

• Administrative Tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions; Balance daily transactions and reconcile discrepancies; Assist with opening and closing the branch

• Compliance
  • Ensure the teller team is following bank policies and procedures; Monitor transactions for potential fraudulent activity; Complete required training and maintain knowledge of industry regulations
