Phlebotomist for Contract Position in Al-Khor, Qatar Our medical facility in Al-Khor, Qatar is seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and preparing blood samples from patients for various medical tests and procedures. Responsibilities
Greet patients and explain the phlebotomy process to them
Identify patient information and ensure all specimens are labeled accurately
Perform venipuncture or fingersticks to collect blood samples
Properly dispose of used needles and other sharp objects
Prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the phlebotomy area
Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
Keep detailed records of patient information, test results, and other relevant data
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in phlebotomy preferred
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Phlebotomist in a medical setting
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Filipino language is an advantage
Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with handling specimens
Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
Must be able to obtain a free visa and ticket for employment in Qatar
