Position Summary:

The Physical Security Threat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for monitoring, assessing, and reporting on physical, environmental, geopolitical, and natural threats that may affect the organization’s employees, facilities, operations, and assets across North America, LATAM, EMEA and APAC. The role uses threat intelligence platforms, geospatial mapping tools, open-source intelligence sources, and risk-monitoring applications to identify and evaluate potential risks affecting corporate offices, critical infrastructure, and business operations.

The analyst delivers actionable intelligence, location risk assessments, situational awareness reporting, and incident analysis to support the Corporate Physical Security team.

Key Responsibilities:

Threat Intelligence and Monitoring:

• Monitor global, regional, and local security threats affecting company personnel, facilities, and operations.
• Assess risks associated with civil unrest, terrorism, political instability, crime, labor disputes, transportation disruptions, and public safety incidents.
• Monitor natural hazards including monsoons, snowstorms, flooding, severe weather, earthquakes, heat waves, and other environmental events that may affect operations.
• Produce timely intelligence reports, alerts, and executive briefings.
• Maintain situational awareness of events affecting company offices and personnel throughout India and the Asia-Pacific region.

Geographic Risk Assessment:

• Use GIS, mapping, and threat intelligence applications to identify risks near company locations
• Conduct physical security risk assessments for corporate offices, critical sites, and proposed locations.
• Analyze proximity risks involving transportation hubs, government facilities, critical infrastructure, crime, protest activity, and environmental hazards.
• Develop location threat profiles, maps, and geographic risk visualizations for management.

Protective Intelligence:

• Monitor open-source, government, media, and commercial intelligence sources for threats directed toward facilities, employees, executives, or operations.
• Support executive protection and corporate event planning through threat assessments and intelligence analysis.
• Identify emerging security trends, patterns, and vulnerabilities that may affect the organization.

Crisis Management and Incident Support:

• Provide intelligence support during emergencies, natural disasters, business disruptions, and crisis response activities.
• Assess potential business impacts and provide recommendations to the Corporate Security team.
• Track developing events and escalation risks in support of continuity planning.
• Produce incident summaries, lessons learned, and post-event analysis.

Security Reporting and Risk Management:

• Maintain risk profiles for corporate facilities and operational locations.
• Develop recurring intelligence products, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly threat assessments
• Support enterprise risk management initiatives by identifying and tracking physical security risks.
• Contribute to key risk indicators, security metrics, dashboards, and management reporting

Technology and Data Analytics:

• Use threat intelligence platforms, mapping tools, and security applications to support monitoring and analysis.
• Analyze information from multiple intelligence and security sources to identify trends and emerging risks.
• Support automated monitoring dashboards and location-based alerting capabilities.
• Maintain intelligence databases, watchlists, and reporting repositories.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Geography, Political Science, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline.

Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.

Experience:

Approximately 3-7 years of relevant experience in corporate security, protective intelligence, risk management, intelligence analysis, crisis management, law enforcement, military intelligence, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience conducting threat assessments and security risk analysis.

Experience supporting regional or multinational operations is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Experience with intelligence, situational awareness, mapping, or geospatial applications.

Strong analytical, investigative, research, and report-writing capabilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, Power BI, and business reporting tools.

Ability to synthesize multiple sources into concise, actionable intelligence products.

Preferred Capabilities:

Understanding of business continuity and crisis management principles.

Familiarity with corporate physical security operations and OSINT methods.

Experience supporting a multinational corporation or financial institution.

Success Measures:

Timely identification and escalation of threats affecting company locations.

Accurate, concise, and actionable intelligence reporting.

Completion of location risk assessments within established timelines.

Effective intelligence support during incidents and crisis response activities.

Development of meaningful risk metrics and management dashboards.

Improved organizational awareness of physical and environmental risk across the regional portfolio.
