Our licensed physical and occupational therapists utilize state-of-the-art rehabilitation techniques, with seamless access to referral sources, patient records, imaging studies, and more to ensure optimal recovery.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Assist licensed therapists with patient preparation, positioning, and non-skilled treatment activities as directed and permitted by applicable law.
- Provides information to patients by answering questions and requests, allaying fears.
- Assist licensed therapists with patient preparation, equipment use, and assigned therapeutic support activities under appropriate supervision, in accordance with applicable state practice acts, scope-of-practice limitations, and organizational policies. Therapy Technicians may not independently provide skilled therapy services.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Adheres to policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Provides equipment and supplies by sterilizing and delivering equipment and supplies to treatment area; positioning equipment for therapist access; positioning patient on equipment. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ensures operation of physical therapy equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instruction; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains physical therapy supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Enhances physical therapy department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in education opportunities; reading publications, maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Cross-train and provide coverage for front desk and referral functions as needed.
- Assist with patient check-in, scheduling, telephone communications, and general administrative tasks.
- Support referral intake, coordination, and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient information and protect confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:
- 1-2 years of Physical Therapy Office experience preferred
- Excellent Customer Service, Telephone, and Communication skills
