PLANNING ENGINEER

Primary Purpose of the Job

Reporting to the Lead Planning, the Planning Engineer shall be responsible to direct and supervise the functions of Operations Planning, Maintenance Planning, Central Planning, Outsourcing Planning and to coordinate with other Sections to ensure that all RLIC facilities are properly supported by necessary resources, plans, materials and budgets to ensure safe, reliable and cost effective operations of the RLIC Plants.

Required Experience and Skills

• 10-12 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry including practical experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, work control, contracting and budgetary & cost control procedures.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, specialized planning software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, APM, SAP and other related software.
• In-depth knowledge of planning tools such as SAP-PM, MM and other techniques and philosophy.
• Strong organizational, project management, presentation and time management skills.

Educational Qualifications

B.Sc. in Engineering or B.Eng. from an internationally recognized university, preferably with professional membership in a recognized engineering society / institute.
