Candidzone is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer for a project with Acciona at Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Qatar. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project planning and scheduling, with at least 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, construction, or similar desalination plant projects. Hands‑on experience with Primavera planning tools is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project progress against approved plans, milestones, and targets.
- Prepare baseline schedules, look‑ahead plans, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Identify schedule delays, critical activities, and potential project risks.
- Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Prepare progress measurement reports and planning documentation.
- Support project forecasting and schedule recovery plans.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, construction, or related industries.
- Experience with projects involving desalination plants or similar industrial facilities is required.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Primavera P6 and project planning tools.
- Good knowledge of project scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
