Skilled and proactive Presales Consultant - Cybersecurity & Network Security to join our IT security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design implementation and management of security measures that protect enterprise networks systems and data from unauthorized access cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
This role involves monitoring maintaining and enhancing the organizations cybersecurity posture with a strong focus on network defense incident response firewall management intrusion detection and endpoint protection. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in both cybersecurity best practices and network infrastructure security including firewalls VPNs and secure protocols.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and enforce security policies procedures and controls to safeguard digital assets.
Manage firewalls IDS/IPS VPN and NAC systems across the enterprise network.
Monitor systems and network traffic for threats using SIEM EDR and threat intelligence platforms.
Perform regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate patch management and remediation efforts.
Investigate and respond to security incidents breaches and alerts in a timely manner.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations and cloud deployments.
Support regulatory compliance initiatives (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST GDPR UAE ISR/NESA).
Conduct security awareness training and recommend best practices across departments.
Document incidents procedures and configurations in accordance with internal audit standards.
