About the Role

AIRIQ 365 Limited is building and expanding its Hotel Business and is looking for three highly experienced hotel contracting professionals to join us as Consultants for the India market.

This opportunity is specifically designed for senior travel and hospitality professionals who have spent a significant part of their careers in hotel contracting, hotel supply, destination management, tour operations, bed banks, OTAs or B2B travel businesses and have developed strong relationships with hotels and hotel chains across their respective regions.

We are looking for professionals who now want to use their experience, relationships and market knowledge to consult, guide and actively participate in building a hotel business from the ground up. This is not a conventional sales role. The primary objective is to help AIRIQ build a strong, commercially competitive and directly contracted hotel portfolio across India.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and recommend hotels and hotel chains that AIRIQ should directly contract within the assigned region.
• Use existing industry relationships and market knowledge to establish connections with hotel owners, senior management, sales teams and commercial decision-makers.
• Support AIRIQ in developing strategic relationships with independent hotels, regional hotel groups and national hotel chains.
• Lead and support commercial negotiations with hotels for competitive B2B rates, commissions, inventory and other commercial arrangements.
• Negotiate opportunities including dynamic rates, static rates, special rates, promotions, soft blocks, hard blocks, pre-purchase inventory and other strategic contracting models, wherever commercially relevant.
• Help AIRIQ secure commercially competitive rates and inventory that can create a strong value proposition for its B2B distribution network.
• Identify high-demand destinations, properties and hotel categories where direct contracting can create meaningful business opportunities.
• Provide market intelligence on hotel pricing, demand patterns, seasonality, competition and contracting opportunities.
• Advise the Hotel Business Head on regional contracting strategy, priority destinations, hotel selection and commercial opportunities.
• Support negotiations and relationship management for important hotel-chain and strategic accounts.
• Help resolve commercial or relationship-related issues with contracted hotels wherever senior-level intervention is required.
• Support the development of AIRIQ's long-term hotel supply strategy for the India market.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for highly experienced professionals from the travel and hospitality industry who have built their careers around hotels and hotel contracting.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Extensive experience in Hotel Contracting, Hotel Supply, Hotel Procurement or Hotel Partnerships.
• Strong experience working with the India hotel market.
• Deep knowledge of hotels and hotel chains within their respective region — North, South or West India.
• Established professional relationships with hotel owners, hotel management companies, hotel chains, sales leaders and commercial teams.
• Strong understanding of hotel contracting, rates, inventory, commissions and commercial negotiations.
• Experience working with a Tour Operator, DMC, OTA, Bed Bank, B2B Travel Company, Hotel Distribution Company or similar travel business.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-management capabilities.
• Good understanding of destination demand, seasonality, hotel positioning and competitive pricing.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with AIRIQ's Hotel Business leadership.

The Profile We Particularly Want to Meet

This opportunity is particularly suited to someone who has spent many years building hotel relationships and contracting hotel inventory, understands the Indian hotel ecosystem in depth and has a strong professional network within the industry. You may have already held senior positions in Hotel Contracting, Procurement, Supply, Destination Management or Hotel Partnerships and may now prefer a consulting role where your experience and industry relationships can directly contribute to building a new hotel business.

We are not looking only for someone who can introduce hotels. We are looking for someone who can bring experience, relationships, commercial judgement and strategic guidance and become an active part of AIRIQ's Hotel Business journey.
