Job Description: Producer
Position Summary
This position is responsible for bringing creative visions and ambitions to life by managing photo shoots, video, and social/digital productions from initial concept and pre-production through post-production. Operating autonomously on medium-priority productions and leading high-priority 5-star programs, hero shoots, or e-commerce initiatives, this producer works across multiple programs simultaneously.
The role partners closely with Creative Operations, Marketing, and all creative teams (Image, Digital, Social) to synthesize production needs, evaluate efficiencies, and deliver premium assets. You will help assist with the sourcing, hiring, and briefing of external talent (photographers, directors, editors, 3D artists, illustrators, hair, makeup, and fashion stylists), oversee casting, manage post-production timelines in coordination with internal creative teams, and serve as the main point of contact for external partners from pre-production through on-set delivery.
Additionally, this role supports leadership (Executive Director, Art Production / VP Creative Operations) in shaping strategic approaches for content production, driving operational efficiency, and managing departmental budgets.
Principal Accountabilities
- Production Leadership: Lead end-to-end production across a wide range of projects, from high-priority global campaigns and medium-priority productions to everyday ecommerce assets.
- Budget & Financial Ownership: Own project budgets—including estimating, tracking costs, negotiating, processing advance requests and invoices, opening POs, finalizing billing, and assisting leadership with overall departmental budget tracking.
- Talent Sourcing & Partnerships: Research, source, and secure new and existing talent (photographers, directors, illustrators, hair, makeup, stylists, and models), targeting strategic, long-term partnerships.
- Negotiation & Contracts: Coordinate and negotiate contracts, rates, and usage rights/extensions for all imagery, motion assets, and external talent alongside executive leadership and marketing.
- Vendor & Cross-Functional Briefing: Brief and liaise with external partners, production companies, and creative vendors, while coordinating model castings and go-sees.
- Department Liaison & Logistics: Coordinate call sheets, product securement, and shoot-related logistics, acting as the primary bridge between the Creative Department (Domestic/International Exec Directors) and on-site crew.
- Post-Production Oversight: Manage motion post-production timelines and final deliverables while facilitating stills post-production in collaboration with internal post teams and creative leads.
- Strategic Operations: Partner with creative operations to identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and innovate new methods for efficient content execution across complex, multi-workstream projects.
Position Requirements
- Education: BA or BFA preferred.
- Experience: 4–8 years of relevant creative production experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of current creative talent, market trends, industry fee structures, and media usage rights.
Core Competencies:
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, balancing creative ambition with practical budget and timing realities.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.
