Product Marketer | AI
New York | $180k–$220k + equity
Some Product Marketing roles are about taking a finished product, packaging the message and executing a launch plan.
This isn't one of them.
I'm working with a fast-growing AI company that's rethinking how people work with AI inside their organisations. The product is evolving incredibly quickly, customers are finding new ways to use it all the time, and the market itself is still being defined.
They're now looking for a Product Marketer to sit right at the intersection of Product, Engineering and GTM and own how that evolving product gets translated into a story the market understands.
The opportunity
This company ships meaningful product developments almost every week.
You'll stay close to what's being built, work out which developments really matter, understand the customer problem behind them and decide how to bring them to market.
Sometimes that's a major product launch. Sometimes it's recognising that a seemingly small feature tells a much bigger story about where the product — or the category — is heading.
You'll own the thinking and execution around:
You'll have strong Creative support around you, but this is a hands-on Product Marketing role . You should enjoy writing, shaping ideas, creating assets and getting things shipped — not just building the strategy and briefing somebody else.
Closer to the product than most PMM roles
One of the most interesting things about this company is how Product gets built.
There isn't a traditional layer of Product Managers translating Engineering for Marketing.
You'll work directly with engineers and the people closest to customers .
That means asking good questions. Getting into the detail. Understanding what is technically interesting and then figuring out why it's commercially interesting.
You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be naturally curious about complex products and capable of becoming a trusted partner to the people building them.
The ambition is that Engineering eventually comes to you when something interesting is taking shape because they know you'll help uncover the story.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who has learned the fundamentals of excellent B2B Product Marketing but still wants to build.
You'll likely have 3–5+ years of dedicated Product Marketing experience , with a track record of personally taking technical B2B products or features to market.
You might have learned your craft within an established technology company before moving into a startup or scale-up. Or you might already be operating as a highly autonomous PMM inside a fast-growing technology business.
Either way, you'll need to show that you can:
Experience with AI is valuable, but curiosity and the ability to understand a technical product deeply matter more than having the perfect AI logo on your CV.
Why join?
The attraction here isn't joining a huge PMM organisation with an established playbook.
It's the opposite.
You'll work closely with the Head of Marketing, founders and Engineering team , with genuine ownership over how the company's product story develops as the business scales.
You'll be joining at a point where:
The product is moving quickly.
The company is growing.
The category is still taking shape.
And Product Marketing has a significant role to play in all three.
For someone who has learned great PMM fundamentals and now wants more ownership, more proximity to the product and more opportunity to build, it's a very interesting seat.

If you're a Product Marketer who gets more excited by figuring out the story than following a launch checklist, I'd love to hear from you.
