PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturing company. We are hiring a Production Operator for a weekend shift opportunity.
Shift: 4th Shift | 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday - Sunday
Pay Rate: $22.80/hr
Weekend Shift Bonus:
* Work 35.75 hours and receive an additional 4 hours of pay.
* Weekend employees are paid for 40 hours while working a 36-hour weekend schedule.
* Candidates must complete training on alternate shifts during their first several weeks, which may include weekday training or weekend daytime hours.
Production Operator Summary:
* Operate manufacturing equipment to convert raw materials into finished products.
* Monitor production processes and perform in-process testing to ensure quality standards are met.
* Maintain production records and inventory documentation.
* Troubleshoot equipment issues and support continuous production operations.
* Follow established procedures and work instructions in a manufacturing environment.
* Support production schedules and material flow to meet customer demand.
Production Operator Responsibilities:
* Operate manufacturing equipment used in the production process.
* Monitor raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods to ensure production requirements are met.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and production documentation.
* Perform in-process quality checks, including hardness, weight, variation, pH, and moisture content testing.
* Recognize equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot production issues to maintain efficiency.
* Follow blueprints, schematics, and subassembly layouts as required.
* Track production orders, completed work, and inventory levels.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED preferred
* Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
* Ability to learn and follow established work instructions and procedures
* Basic computer and documentation skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to identify and communicate production or equipment issues
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable attendance and willingness to work the assigned weekend schedule
* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
