We are looking for an experienced Project Accountant with a strong background in the construction industry to join our team in Doha. This role is ideal for professionals who can manage project-level financials, control costs, and support project teams with accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project accounting activities including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
- Monitor project costs vs. budget and highlight variances
- Prepare monthly financial reports and project cost reports
- Ensure timely monthly financial reporting for assigned projects
- Support procurement and subcontractor payment processes
- Handle invoicing, progress billing, and client payments
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 8 years of experience (construction industry experience is a must)
- Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Prior GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage
