Location: Charlotte, NC

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 + bonus, depending on experience

Samuel James Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, family-owned water and wastewater treatment plant contractor to hire an experienced Project Manager.

They self-perform their concrete, process piping, mechanical and site work. As PM you run the job with your own field teams rather than managing a stack of subs. Their pipeline is long-term, multi-year plant work for municipal clients across several states.

You’ll work out of whichever of their three regional offices suits you: the Charlotte area, Ohio or Central Florida.

What you’ll do:

• Run water and wastewater treatment plant projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Own schedule, budget, change orders and cost reporting
• Lead the relationship with owners, engineers and inspectors
• Work closely with the superintendent and self-perform crews to keep the job on track

What they’re looking for:

• 5+ years as a Project Manager on water or wastewater treatment plants
• Experience running projects of $15M and above
• Self-perform GC background preferred, CM background considered
• Strong understanding of process piping, concrete structures and plant startup
