Job Overview

Applab is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of its web and mobile applications. The role is suited to a quality assurance professional with 2–5+ years of QA experience and hands‑on exposure to modern testing tools and practices.

The successful candidate will perform functional, regression, and integration testing, identify and document defects, prepare QA documentation, and collaborate closely with development and business teams. The position plays an important role in maintaining product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of web and mobile applications.
• Execute regression testing to verify application stability following changes and releases.
• Conduct integration testing across application components and systems.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Prepare and maintain QA documentation, test cases, and testing records.
• Collaborate with development teams to investigate and resolve defects.
• Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and validate expected functionality.
• Support quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Use testing and defect‑management tools to organize and track QA activities.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and overall product quality.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of QA experience .
• Experience testing web and mobile applications .
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Hands‑on experience with one or more of the following tools:
  • Jira
  • Selenium
  • Playwright
  • Postman
• Ability to identify, document, and track software defects.
• Experience preparing QA documentation and test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with development and business teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
