Build your quality career inside a fast-expanding techno-commercial business.
element is hiring for a high-growth client in the lifting solutions industry — a fast-expanding, techno-commercial business supporting critical sectors such as energy, oil & gas, marine, construction, infrastructure, material handling and industrial projects.
This is a business where technical knowledge, commercial speed, and operational reliability come together. The company is growing its market presence, strengthening its systems, and building the next layer of technical and operational talent.
We are looking for a QA /QC Officer / Engineer who wants to grow with that journey.
This is not a routine inspection role. It is an opportunity to work in a safety-critical industry, build deeper exposure to lifting and rigging solutions, strengthen quality systems, and contribute to a business where every product, certificate, inspection, and release carries real responsibility.
Why this role matters
In lifting solutions, quality is not just a department.
It is the difference between accepted and rejected.
Between compliant and exposed.
Between trusted and questioned.
Between safe lifting and serious risk.
The QA/QC Officer / Engineer will play a key role in ensuring that materials, products, inspections, testing records, certification documents, and quality processes are accurate, traceable, and aligned with customer, technical, and regulatory requirements.
- You will help the business move faster — but correctly.
- You will help teams deliver — but safely.
- You will help growth happen — without quality becoming the weak link.
What you will do
Quality inspection and control
- Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspections of materials, products and assemblies.
- Inspect lifting and rigging-related products such as wire ropes, slings, shackles, lifting accessories, sockets, webbing products, chain slings and material handling components.
- Verify dimensions, markings, WLL / SWL details, identification tags, batch details, heat numbers, certificates and customer-specific requirements.
- Monitor quality during fabrication, assembly, swaging, socketing, splicing, testing, tagging, packing and dispatch.
- Identify non-conforming materials, products or processes before they impact safety, delivery or customer trust.
Testing, certification, and traceability
- Coordinate inspection and testing activities with internal teams, third-party inspectors, laboratories, clients, and consultants where required.
- Review inspection reports, test certificates, conformity certificates, and customer documentation before product release.
- Maintain complete traceability from material receipt to finished product dispatch.
- Ensure product identification, labels, serial numbers, batch numbers, and certificates are accurate and aligned.
- Track calibration status of measuring instruments, inspection tools, and testing equipment.
Quality systems and documentation
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO-based quality management practices.
- Maintain inspection reports, NCRs, corrective action records, calibration certificates, audit reports, quality checklists and customer quality documentation.
- Prepare quality reports covering inspection status, NCR trends, rework, corrective actions, audit findings and improvement opportunities.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, third-party audits and certification body audits.
- Ensure quality records are complete, controlled, traceable and audit-ready.
Non-conformance and improvement
- Raise, track and close Non-Conformance Reports.
- Investigate root causes of defects, deviations, rework, customer complaints and recurring quality issues.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with production, stores, procurement, testing, inspection and project teams.
- Verify that rework, repair or rectification is completed in line with required standards.
- Recommend practical improvements that reduce errors, rework, delays and cost of poor quality.
Cross-functional coordination
- Work closely with production, testing, inspection, stores, procurement, planning, HSE, project and dispatch teams.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and third-party inspectors on quality matters.
- Communicate quality risks clearly, professionally and with supporting evidence.
- Support project and delivery teams without compromising quality standards.
- Help build a culture where quality is owned by everyone, not parked neatly in a file after the job is done.
What makes this opportunity exciting
This role sits inside a business that is moving fast and building for the next stage of growth.
You Will Gain Hands-on Exposure To
- Lifting, rigging and wire rope solutions.
- Energy, industrial and project-driven customer requirements.

- ISO-based quality management systems.
- Customer and third-party inspections.
- Calibration, traceability and quality documentation.
- NCR, CAPA, audits and continuous improvement.
- Workshop, site and project-based quality control.
For the right person, this can grow into broader responsibility across quality systems, inspection coordination, supplier quality, audits, technical documentation, process improvement and quality leadership.
This is a role for someone who does not just want to check quality.
It is for someone who wants to build it.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or a related technical discipline.
- 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing, fabrication, lifting equipment, rigging, wire rope, construction, engineering, industrial or energy-related environments.
- Hands-on experience in inspection, testing, product verification and quality documentation.

- Experience with customer inspections, third-party inspections or certification documentation.
- Knowledge of calibration requirements for measuring tools and testing equipment.
- Certification in ISO 9001 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor.
- Additional certification in QA/QC, welding inspection, lifting equipment inspection, NDT, calibration or material testing.
- Familiarity with Energy / Oil & Gas customer requirements will be preferred.
The person who will succeed here
You Notice What Others Miss.
The unclear marking.
The missing certificate.
The wrong tag.
The expired calibration record.
The incomplete traceability.
The small deviation could become a major issue later.
You are practical, structured, and calm under pressure. You know how to support production and project teams without slowing the business down unnecessarily, but you also know when to hold the line.
You believe quality should help the business move faster, safer and smarter.
Why join this opportunity
Because this is not a static QA/QC role in a slow-moving setup.
This is a chance to join a growing techno-commercial business at a stage where quality systems, technical capability and operational discipline are becoming even more important to future growth.
You will work close to the action, learn from experienced technical teams, support customer-facing quality requirements and build expertise in a sector where quality has real business impact.
If you are looking for a role where your work matters, your learning curve is strong and your career can grow with the business, this is a serious opportunity.
