NOW HIRING: Quality Control Inspector (QC)

Location: Butler, NJ 07405
Pay Rate: $21–$25 per hour ( shift /differential)
Shifts: 2nd & 3rd Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday

Shift Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to inspect and measure metal parts, calibrate measuring equipment, and ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect metal parts during production and upon completion.
• Perform first article, in-process, final, and incoming material inspections.
• Calibrate and maintain measuring and inspection equipment.
• Use micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauge pins, thread gauges, and optical comparators.
• Read and interpret engineering and mechanical drawings.
• Document inspection results and enter data into quality databases.
• Identify and report defects and quality issues.
• Work with production teams to resolve problems and improve product quality.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments, metrology equipment, precision measuring tools, interpreting mechanical drawings, and performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) preferred.
• Previous QC inspection experience in metal manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform inspection tasks requiring close attention to detail and the use of measuring tools.
