Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for mechanical works. Review drawings, specifications, tender documents, and contract requirements. Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier enquiries, quotations, and comparisons. Monitor project costs, commitments, variations, and commercial changes. Prepare interim payment applications, valuations, and payment certificates. Measure and value completed mechanical works at site. Identify, evaluate, and prepare variation orders and claims. Review subcontractor applications, supporting documents, and invoices. Assist in preparing cost reports, forecasts, and commercial reports. Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Accounts teams. Verify quantities and progress against approved drawings and site records. Maintain proper records of quantities, measurements, variations, and commercial correspondence. Support the preparation and finalization of subcontract accounts and final accounts. Ensure commercial activities are carried out in accordance with project contracts, specifications, and company procedures. Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. 8–12 years of relevant experience in mechanical quantity surveying, preferably within the GCC. Experience in building, MEP, infrastructure, or major construction projects. Strong knowledge of mechanical works, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and related MEP systems. Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, measurement, variations, valuations, and cost control. Experience with subcontractor and supplier commercial management. Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial procedures. Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying / measurement software. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and contracts. GCC / Qatar project experience is preferred. Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. Pay: QAR9,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month Work Location: In person Contract: Full time on site
