A leading national law firm is seeking a talented Real Estate Finance Associate with 2 to 7 years of experience to join its growing Nashville office. Key Responsibilities
- Represent lenders, borrowers, servicers, and institutional clients in complex commercial real estate finance transactions
- Draft, review and negotiate loan documents, intercreditor agreements and other transaction documents
- Manage transactions from inception through closing, coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, title companies and other deal parties
- Advise clients on structuring, strategic and commercial considerations across a range of real estate finance matters
- Handle acquisition financing, refinancing, construction loans, mortgage financing, mezzanine financing and CMBS transactions across diverse asset classes
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality legal service
Ideal Background
- 2 to 7 years of experience handling commercial real estate finance matters
- Experience representing lenders, borrowers or institutional investors in sophisticated financing transactions
- Exposure to CMBS, construction lending, acquisition financing, or other complex real estate finance matters is advantageous
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative transactional environment
- Excellent academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and project management ability
