Role Context

The Real Estate Program Manager will help convert Amazon 's regional growth plans into successfully delivered facilities by coordinating the many activities required between site evaluation and operational launch.

The position sits across real estate, construction, engineering, finance, legal, and external development partners, ensuring that timelines, approvals, project data, budgets, and action items remain visible and controlled.

The role has a direct impact on network expansion by reducing execution delays, improving project coordination, and creating reliable project management processes across multiple real estate initiatives in AMET.

Key Responsibilities

• Track milestones across multiple real estate and construction projects to support on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Maintain accurate project records, schedules, trackers, and supporting documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Protect data integrity within Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, proprietary project systems, and related reporting tools.
• Coordinate environmental, zoning, legal, permitting, and other due diligence activities required before project progression.
• Monitor dependencies and identify issues that could delay site development or launch.
• Schedule and facilitate project meetings involving internal teams, consultants, developers, brokers, and other partners.
• Record decisions, ownership, action items, deadlines, and follow-up requirements from project discussions.
• Coordinate calendars and critical meetings to keep high-priority workstreams moving.
• Manage purchase order processes and support accurate project cost administration.
• Review invoices against project requirements and assist with budget tracking and financial controls.
• Work with Legal, Finance, Construction, and Engineering teams to resolve blockers affecting project execution.
• Coordinate with brokers, consultants, developers, and other external partners throughout site development activities.
• Maintain visibility across project schedules and elevate emerging risks before they affect critical milestones.
• Support feasibility assessments and project readiness activities for prospective facilities.
• Improve workflows and reporting mechanisms to reduce administrative friction and strengthen project transparency.
• Develop more scalable project management practices as the AMET real estate portfolio expands.
• Use project information and performance trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain a strong sense of ownership across multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced operating environment.

Ideal Profile

The successful candidate will have experience supporting or managing real estate, construction, development, facilities, or complex project delivery activities.

The position requires exceptional organization and attention to detail because several projects, deadlines, budgets, approvals, and stakeholder groups may need to be managed simultaneously.

Candidates should be comfortable working with project tracking tools and maintaining reliable data across Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, or comparable project management systems.

Experience coordinating due diligence, permitting, construction documentation, invoices, purchase orders, or project budgets will be highly valuable.
