About the Role As Reception Manager at Wavehouse, you will be a highly visible part of the guest experience, welcoming diners and ensuring their needs and special requests are understood from the moment they arrive. Building lasting relationships is central to the position. You will engage with guests staying at the resort and its suites, local Dubai residents and returning customers, delivering the personalized service expected within a luxury hospitality environment.

Guest Relations and Commercial Focus

• Welcome and greet guests with warm, professional five-star service.
• Build strong relationships with hotel guests, suite guests, Dubai residents and regular customers.
• Act as a sales ambassador by encouraging repeat visits and helping capture new business.
• Identify guest preferences, special requests and individual requirements.
• Communicate relevant guest information clearly to the restaurant management team.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Wavehouse and confidently represent the brand.
• Play an active role in building and managing the guest database.
• Work closely with PR and marketing teams on upcoming activities.
• Help communicate special events, initiatives and promotions to the market.
• Support the delivery of personalized dining experiences through attentive guest interaction.

About You

You should have a genuine passion for Food and Beverage and delivering exceptional guest experiences, together with a willingness to learn within a supportive and disciplined working environment. A minimum of two to three years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or restaurant is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to interact confidently, positively and professionally with a wide range of people. Immaculate personal presentation is important for this guest-facing position. Candidates must also be willing to work flexible hours according to operational requirements.
