At Ambient Recruiting, we believe recruiting is about more than filling jobs. It’s about understanding people, building meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities that make a difference for candidates, clients, and the communities we serve.
We’re an employee-owned team that believes Team Before Self, Grow By Learning, Find A Better Way, Commit To Serving, and Do The Right Thing aren’t just words on a wall. They guide how we work, how we treat people, and how we show up for our clients and candidates.
We’re looking for a Recruiter who is motivated by people, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in doing the work the right way. This person will manage full-cycle recruitment while partnering closely with clients and our internal team to deliver a thoughtful, high-quality experience from first conversation through placement.
What You'll Do:
- Develop strong, trusted relationships with candidates and clients.
- Learn each client’s business, culture, hiring needs, and goals so you can provide thoughtful recruiting solutions.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource to candidates throughout the hiring process, providing honest communication and guidance.
- Partner with the team to understand market conditions, candidate availability, and compensation trends.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment from sourcing and screening through interviewing, offer, and placement.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, direct outreach, and other resources.
- Conduct thorough candidate interviews to understand experience, motivations, career goals, and overall fit.
- Present qualified candidates to clients with clear, relevant information and thoughtful insight.
- Coordinate communication and follow-up throughout the hiring process to keep candidates and clients informed.
- Build long-term partnerships by consistently delivering a high level of service.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing.
- Support teammates and contribute to shared goals rather than focusing solely on individual success.
- Stay curious and continue developing your recruiting knowledge and skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment and integrity in every interaction.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably within a staffing or recruitment agency environment.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- The ability to understand a client's needs and translate them into an effective recruiting strategy.
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and searches while staying organized and responsive.
- Comfort working with an ATS, recruiting technology, and other sourcing tools.
- A genuine interest in learning about different industries, businesses, and people.
- Strong judgment, professionalism, and discretion when working with confidential information.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of your work.
