In this critical container platform and middleware engineering role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, securing, and optimizing RedHat OpenShift clusters, Redis data stores, and IBM Cloud Pak architectures (CP4I & CP4BA). Detailed Job Description

As a RedHat OpenShift Engineer supporting Nair Systems in Qatar, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise container platforms, RedHat OpenShift cluster administration, Redis caching tiers, and IBM Cloud Pak integration frameworks across mission-critical systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, deploying, hardening, scaling, and maintaining enterprise RedHat OpenShift clusters across physical and virtualized infrastructure, configuring, tuning, and managing Redis caching environments for high-throughput transactional workloads, implementing and integrating IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) and IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional software engineering, database administration, and security squads to ensure seamless application deployment, establishing automated CI/CD deployment pipelines, container image registries, and cluster monitoring suites, conducting rigorous performance tuning, log analysis, and security vulnerability remediation across container nodes, preparing comprehensive technical documentation of cluster topologies, deployment scripts, and operational runbooks, and managing application requirements ensuring strict compliance with the 6 to 8 years experience requirement, joining timeframe of 2 weeks to maximum 1 month, and Qatar on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, deploy, secure, and maintain enterprise RedHat OpenShift container platforms and Kubernetes clusters.
• Configure, tune, and manage high-performance Redis caching infrastructure and data stores.
• Implement, integrate, and administer IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) and IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) platforms.
• Monitor cluster performance, resource utilization, and pod health across production environments.
• Establish and manage automated CI/CD deployment pipelines, GitOps workflows, and container image registries.
• Troubleshoot complex pod failures, networking bottlenecks, storage attachment issues, and middleware anomalies promptly.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional software engineering, database, and security squads in Agile sprints.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive technical documentation of cluster architectures, integration workflows, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of progressive professional experience in container orchestration, Linux systems administration, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on professional expertise in RedHat OpenShift administration, cluster sizing, and lifecycle management.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in Redis caching architecture and high-availability configuration.
• Deep practical experience implementing and integrating IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) and IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA).
• Solid practical experience in container networking, persistent storage configuration, and enterprise security hardening.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure conditions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong technical documentation and collaboration abilities.
• Mandatory legal work eligibility and physical availability for full-time on-site professional operations in Qatar, with a 2-week to 1-month joining timeframe.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Professional certifications such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or AWS/Azure DevOps Engineer.
• Prior professional working experience in top-tier banking institutions, financial enterprises, or global IT consulting firms.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience utilizing enterprise monitoring and observability suites (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Exposure to ITIL service management frameworks and enterprise security compliance standards.
