Research Scientist – Cell Biology & Genomics

Location: Ridgefield, CT.

We are looking for a hands-on Research Scientist to support discovery programs focused on Cardiovascular-Renal-Metabolic (CVRM) diseases .

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays
• Execute NGS workflows , including bulk RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, and snRNA-seq
• Support tissue/cell/nuclei dissociation and library preparation
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory automation platforms
• Perform molecular biology techniques including PCR, qPCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and Western blotting
• Maintain accurate sample tracking and experimental documentation
• Collaborate across cell biology, genomics, automation, and bioinformatics

Ideal Background:

✔️ Strong mammalian cell culture experience

✔️ Hands-on NGS experience

✔️ Exposure to laboratory automation/high-throughput workflows

✔️ Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills

⭐ iPSC, kidney organoid, or sequencing instrument experience is a plus

Education: BS + 7 years, MS + 3 years, or equivalent experience.
